UA President's Scholarship Program Application - Distinguished Young Women

Organizations selected to participate in the Program must, in the sole judgment of the Program Administrator or designee, meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Be an organization that demonstrates the following:
    1. A focus on encouraging its members or potential recipients to graduate from college and to strive for personal success and improvement;
    2. Support of marginalized or underrepresented student populations;
    3. An ability to nominate recipients who have good potential for success at the University;
    4. That the organization’s mission aligns with the priorities of the University;
    5. That it has a neutral, fair, and unbiased selection process; and
    6. That its recipients will not be related to selection committee members. 
  2. Complete an annual application by April 1 that addresses the above criteria and provides documentation outlining the selection process for recipients, any contracts or agreements the recipients or potential recipients enter into with the organization, and marketing materials related to the Scholarship or related events. 

Participation associated with university-related organizations will be approved by the UA President. Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) will be administered under their terms and conditions.
